Overview
The project provided for 50 new social units comprising 3 and 4 bedroom houses (35 No. in total) and 2 bedroomed apartments (15 No. in total) and associated external works for Louth County Council. The site development works provided for works along the existing road outside the site, with new roads, services and footpaths within the site, including a large children’s playground.
The steep contours of the site required significant retaining elements with site fill which necessitated piled foundations. The works also required the diversion of overhead power lines to facilitate the new development.
