Overview
The project consists of 22 social units, in a mix of one and two storey houses, with associated external works.
The site, located at the crossroad of Ballymorris Road and Canal Road in Portarlington Co Laois, included all new drainage, utilities, roads, paths & landscaping to service the new estate, including works along the boundary of the Irish Rail Dublin-Westport line.
The project also required significant works along the existing Ballymorris Road, which remained open throughout the works, primarily consisting of new footpaths, surface water drainage, narrowing of the road under the railway bridge, and installation of signalised shuttle system.
