Overview
The Clones Erne East Sports Centre delivered a 1600m2 Sports Pavilion which included a Sports Hall, fitness suite, changing/ shower rooms, multi-purpose rooms, referee rooms, storage, toilets, offices, meeting rooms, launderette, reception & café facilities.
The new outdoor facilities delivered a multiplicity of sports activity facilities which included a grass GAA pitch, and a full IAAF athletics track and field facility surrounding an all-weather ‘3G’ sports surface for GAA, rugby and soccer.
The project required major earthworks to re-profile the contours of the existing site, and significant ground remediation works. Siteworks also included the re-location of existing grass pitch, new flood lighting to all pitches & track, car parking, bus parking & bus drop-off points.
