Overview

Curragh Community College is a major new post-primary school development at the former Magee Barracks site in Kildare, comprising the phased construction of a new two-storey educational campus with a gross internal floor area of approximately 10,884 m².

The new educational facility provides 37 classrooms, specialist teaching accommodation, a PE hall, general-purpose hall, Special Educational Needs Unit, library, fitness suite and associated staff and support facilities. The project also includes extensive external works, incorporating new access roads, car and bicycle parking, student drop-off facilities, grass playing pitches, ballcourts, landscaping, drainage, utility infrastructure and renewable energy installations.

Mulcahy McDonagh & Partners is providing full Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services throughout the project lifecycle. Our role includes cost planning, cost control, procurement advice, tender documentation, tender evaluation, contract cost management, financial reporting and commercial management, supporting the successful delivery of this significant public sector education project.
