Overview
The National Indoor Arena is situated within the National Sports Campus site in Abbotstown, Dublin 15. This state of the art faciality included the development of three individual arenas, and was the first of its kind in Ireland, comprising:
- National Gymnastics Training Centre with a hall, changing rooms, a viewing gallery, press offices, and ancillary offices
- National Indoor Athletics training Centre with six lane 200m and 100m sprint tracks, an in-field event area, fixed seating to approximately 400 spectators, storage, a crèche, a conference suite and management/administration offices
- National Indoor Training Centre with bleacher seating for approximately 1,500 spectators, changing rooms, a café, kitchen facilities, storage and a building energy centre
- Siteworks including car parking for approximately 300 cars, access roads and traffic signal-controlled junction on Snugborough Road, surface & foul water drainage and utility services
- Full size indoor synthetic soccer pitch, changing rooms, office space and storage
- Half size indoor synthetic rugby pitch, changing rooms, office space and storage
- Fitness and conditioning centre
