Overview
The Sports Centre at Trinity College Dublin consisted of the construction of a new five-storey over basement building with a state-of-the-art 25m pool (with adjustable floor), training pool, gym, changing areas, sports halls and offices/administration areas.
The new sports centre also includes an indoor climbing wall, spanning 18m wide and 11m high.
The site of the building, on the corner of Westland Row and Pearse Street, with the DART line on the rear side, required careful consideration in the early stages of the project, which was successfully delivered on a live campus environment.
MMP provided total Cost Management and Quantity Surveying services on this project.
