Overview
Located adjacent to the Millers Glen development of Oldtown, in Swords, this Archaeological Park provides a great local amenity including footpaths throughout the park, mounding to open spaces, interpretive display panels, seating areas, and a cycle path along Glen Ellan Road.
The Rathbeal Archaeology Park was designed with the continued protection of this important archaeological site at its forefront. This project was a collaborative effort between archaeologists, Gannon Homes, Fingal County Council and the National Monuments Service.
The works are developed as part of the Oldtown-Mooretown Local Area Plan to satisfy the open space requirements on the neighbouring developments
