Overview
Phase 1 of the Port Access Northern Cross Route (PANCR) comprises construction of a new 2km link road, with two large roundabouts, upgrading 1km on Ballymakenny Road and realignment of Twenties Lane (0.6km).
This major new link road in Louth delivers critical infrastructure to Drogheda’s northern environs, and will facilitate delivery of approximately 5,000 new homes.
The project was delivered through a collaboration between the Housing Infrastructure Services Company (HISC), Castlethorn, Ballymakenny Developments Ltd and Louth County Council.
