Overview
The project consists of two sites, Shannon Pot and Cavan Burren Park, which are located approx. 5km apart in Co. Cavan
The development aims to deliver a world class visitor experience to the northern region of Ireland within “Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands” on the two separate sites, comprising:
- Shannon Pot: New Discovery Centre building comprising an entrance/ reception area, interpretation, retail, coffee area, offices, storage, toilets and plant / service areas at ground level. External elevated walkways and viewing platforms, the first bridge across River Shannon, and car park upgrade works
- Cavan Burren Park: Outdoor Amphitheatre, Ground trails and raised walkways/ viewing areas & upgrade to existing car park.
